As we expand into the Toronto market, we are looking for a motivated sales professional who can help build our local presence and drive new business.

Role Overview
Sales Executive  experienced in freight forwarding, NVOCC, or logistics sales. This role is responsible for acquiring new accounts, developing relationships, and representing Prime Freight’s services to importers, exporters, manufacturers, and distributors across the Greater Toronto Area.

This is a growth‑focused role: you will be the main driver of Prime Freight’s expansion in Toronto.

Key Responsibilities

Prospect, identify, and onboard new clients in the Greater Toronto Area.

Manage the full sales cycle: lead generation → presentations → rate quoting → closing → account growth.

Maintain and expand relationships with importers, exporters, manufacturers, retailers, and freight‑dependent businesses.

Work closely with internal operations, customs, and tech teams to deliver seamless customer service.

Develop strategies to grow Prime Freight’s Toronto presence and hit monthly/quarterly sales targets.

Attend networking events, trade shows, and on‑site client visits.

Provide feedback on market trends, pricing changes, and customer needs.

Qualifications

Minimum 2–5 years of sales experience in freight forwarding, logistics, NVOCC, or supply chain.

Strong understanding of air/ocean freight, LCL/FCL, Incoterms, quoting, and international shipping processes.

Proven ability to generate new business and hit revenue targets.

Existing customer relationships in the GTA freight/logistics market is a strong asset.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑moving, entrepreneurial environment.

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally for client meetings.
