About the team
The Revenue Operations team is responsible for maximizing yield through supply optimization, driving global ad revenue growth with strategic pricing and packaging, managing global publisher partnerships for ad inventory deals and delivery, and enhancing the efficiency of the ad sales organization by centralizing processes across our data tools and systems. By aligning advertising sales, marketing, product, and client services, the team aims to optimize the monetization of advertising inventory.
This involves a blend of strategic planning, data analysis, system and tool utilization, and partnership management.
About the role
The Sales Planner manages commercial inventory & supports sales goals through the creation of strategic advertising proposals. The Sales Planning team puts forth proposals in alignment of client goals, showcasing the value of the Roku experience. The role is located in the Toronto office and will report into the Senior Pricing and Planning Manager based in Toronto.
Compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, certifications, and specific geographical location.

What you'll be doing
Create a high volume of RFP-specific proposals using both internal and external templatesCollaborate with Sales, AMs, Inventory, and Marketing teams to generate compelling custom ad programs across our product/site portfoliosPull avails, recommend ad placements, and content channels based on client campaign objectivesManage internal communication throughout the plan creation processEnsure that plan due dates are met by effectively managing time and internal deadlinesSupport dedicated books of business, managing the RFP process from proposal generation to order entryPartner with Sales teams to implement packaging and pricing strategies, as defined by Revenue Operations rate cards and guidelinesExecute budget revisions, including incremental spend, optimizations, makegoods, and cancellationsCollaborate with various departments, such as Ad Ops, Inventory Analytics, and Marketing, to fulfill client requests and aid Sales in their proposalsWork closely with the Ad Ops team to execute campaigns and maximize delivery against contracted goalsAssist in the preparation and follow-up for client meetings, as directed by AMs or Sellers, including reviewing industry and account-specific informationIdentify areas for improvement within the pre-sale process and recommend solutions to enhance operational efficiencyWe're excited if you have
Enthusiasm for working in a collaborative Ad Sales team environmentA positive attitude when handling day-to-day tasksStrong problem-solving and multitasking abilitiesExceptional attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills2-3+ years of professional experience; media sales planning and/or buying experience is strongly preferredProficiency in Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel and Power Point Proficiency in Salesforce is a plusProficiency in media math and terminology is a plusFamiliarity with OMS tools and the CTV landscape is beneficialFamiliarity with the CTV ad-buying ecosystem including programmatic#LI-ST1
