We are seeking a talented Senior Account & Growth Manager to be based remotely in the USA or Canada, proactively hunting for new business via phone, social media, Linked In, email, and face-to-face interactions, employing a balanced contact plan to generate prospects and convert them into bookings.
Once converted, the candidate will drive revenue through the successful management and growth of their assigned book of business. S/he will develop a business consultant relationship with prospects and existing clients, identify product and client training gaps, ensure the delivery of quality customer and technical services, and resolve attrition issues to renew the client’s business.
Senior Account & Growth Managers are expected to drive continued market and competitive learning through research and customer outreach, and report findings to the team at regular intervals.
With a client base predominantly across the USA and Canada, we are looking for someone with previous SaaS experience, ideally with either participant or mass participation sports event organization experience, who can bring their passion for this space, marry this to our world-leading Event Management SaaS technologies, and make an immediate impact
Responsibilities:
Selling online the full scope of ACTIVE’s products and servicesProactively hunt for new business via phone, social media, Linked In, email and face-to-face, employing a balanced contact plan to generate prospects while building trust, loyalty, and solid long-term relationships with key decision-makersMeet, present and pitch customers in person and remotelyQualifying, building, and owning a predictable sales pipeline, including regular sales forecastingMeet and exceed assigned quota targetsCoordinate all aspects of the sale from start to finish, including price and contract negotiationsCreate and conduct customer presentations and proposalsDelivering the right solution for clients' evolving business requirementsAchieve monthly, quarterly, and annual booking quotas as outlined by managementDevelop and maintain knowledge of competition and industry trendsDrive revenue & reduce churn risk through minimising customer attrition and increasing up and cross-sales to your base business.Quote and sell software and services to existing customer accountsManage contract renewal for the assigned book of businessIdentify root causes of client ‘pain points’ and issuesLiaise between teams to facilitate the resolution of technical issuesEarly identification of at-risk clients and escalating potential risks or challenges to the managerHandle messaging and objection handling with clients regarding technical issuesRequirements:
Proven experience and success in external client and/or project management, preferably in a software sales settingAdvanced communication (oral and written), objection-handling, and conflict management skillsAbility to leverage technology tools to fuel organization, efficiency, and productivity; advanced use of Microsoft outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word preferredHighly skilled in public speaking; can confidently create and deliver presentations to both client and internal audiencesResourceful and able to adapt and respond quickly to changeDemonstrated ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentDemonstrated ability to work independently and make sound decisions under the position guidelines with little direct supervisionAbility to collaborate as a productive and active team member
