Discover Network Sales Leader

Shape Discover Payment Network growth from Capital One Canada’s Toronto office, using payments strategy, relationship management, and enterprise deal-closing skills. Hybrid culture includes three office days weekly.

This Senior Manager, Sales role reports to the Director, Sales and owns direct merchant acquisition across Canadian target verticals. Build relationships with internal and external partners, secure approvals, and deliver commercial agreements that support network acceptance. Relevant experience may include payments, Fin Tech, strategy, operations, project management, or finance.

• Maximize network acceptance through direct merchant negotiations
• Secure stakeholder support from Pricing, Legal, Risk, and AML
• Coordinate integration with cross-functional internal partners
• Maintain account relationships supporting volume and revenue goals
• Participate in exhibitions and conferences across the industry

• At least eight years in payments industry-related functions
• Nine years in commercial payments preferred
• Bachelor's degree or higher preferred
• Emerging payment capability experience preferred
• Enterprise-level merchant deal-closing record preferred
