ExperienceDay 1 – Arrive in Cusco, acclimate, and attend a comprehensive briefing to meet fellow participants.
Day 2 – Explore the vibrant Cusco area, finalize supplies for the upcoming rainforest trek.
Day 3 – Begin the treks into the rainforest, building connections with locals and enjoying Andean vistas.
Day 4 – Guided exploration of the regenerating rainforest, dinner with the local community.
Days 5–9 – Focus on comprehensive training: learn about local communities, challenges, and participate in emergency response training.
Days 10–31 – Actively engage in project work Monday to Saturday, with Sundays off for personal leisure.
Day 32 – Bid farewell to the Biosphere Reserve, return to Cusco for departure the following day.
LogisticsUpon arrival at Cusco Airport, you will be transferred to the project site and share comfortable accommodations with up to three other participants.
Internet access may be sporadic; digital detox is encouraged. If you wish to stay connected, internet use is available at $5 USD per hour using solar power.
Three daily meals including packed lunches for field days are provided. Dietary restrictions may be accommodated—please indicate them on the application form.
