As a Tactical Security Guard, physical ability is essential as you will be moving around your entire shift, patrolling a post-secondary educational institute, located at M5B 1Y2.

Responsibilities for Campus Tactical Security Guard
As a Tactical Security Guard assigned to a sensitive educational environment, you’ll be a key player in maintaining a safe and secure atmosphere for staff, students, and visitors.
Duties include:
- Proactively patrolling high-traffic areas by foot
- Responding to incidents and emergencies quickly and effectively
- Enforcing the Criminal Code, Trespass to Property Act, and site-specific regulations
- Observing and reporting suspicious behaviour or safety hazards
- Assisting in medical emergency response and supporting on-site evacuations
- Conducting site checks, verifying identity, and managing access points
- Writing detailed incident reports and maintaining accurate records
- Supporting community engagement efforts to promote safety and awareness
- Collaborating with local law enforcement when required
Qualifications for Campus Tactical Security Guard
- Be Authorized to work in Canada
- Must be Use of Force certified with atleast 1 year Tactical security experience
- Must have valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Must have Standard First Aid & CPR Level C certification(WSIB Approved)
- Must have experience working with Vulnerable population
- Working Knowledge of Criminal Code and Trespass to Property Act enforcement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism
- Strong documentation and report-writing abilities
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for the duration of your shift
- Computer proficiency (MS Office, Google Suite)
