Security Guard - Casual - FIFA

Security company requires casual security guards for a variety of hotel, condo, retail, and apartment locations in Toronto, Markham, and surrounding areas to support the influx of visitors during FIFA.

• Part time, casual, up to 44 hours a week (not guaranteed) at hotels, condos, retail locations, and apartments

• Ontario Security Guard License
• Standard First Aid CPR‑C + AED
• Open to feedback and willing to implement it

• 1 year experience in security and customer service
• Professional and presentable
• Excellent communication, customer service, and report writing skills

• Unafraid to ensure all who enter the property have business there
• Provide access control and screen individuals entering the site
• Enforce mask policies
• Conduct hourly exterior and interior patrols
• Enforce the Trespass to Property Act
• Write and submit reports in a timely manner
• Respond to calls from Manager on Duty and guests in a timely manner, with follow‑up occurring where necessary on the next shift
• Work with site staff
• Liaise with Toronto Police and other emergency services
• De‑escalate potential situations
• Communicate with the team
• Be flexible with work assignments

Pay: $17.75 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:
Toronto, ON – reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

License/Certification:
Ontario Security Guard License (required), Standard First Aid CPR – C + AED (required)
