Seneca Campus Security Training Officer

Join Paladin Security as a Field Training Officer at Seneca Polytechnic to train future campus security leaders. In this full-time position, you’ll foster a culture of excellence and safety through tailored employee training.

In this pivotal role, you will conduct onboarding and ongoing training for newly hired security staff across various campuses. Your time will be dedicated to mentoring through real-world scenarios, providing hands-on instruction, and evaluating trainee performance to ensure comprehensive readiness for campus safety challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive onboarding and site-specific training

• Monitor probationary performance and assign corrective actions

• Conduct scenario-based training reflecting campus security needs

• Track training progress and report findings to management

• Create targeted training material following major incidents

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of relevant security experience

• Valid First Aid and CPR certification essential

• Strong skills in communication and performance assessment

• Experience in training, coaching, or supervision

• Certification in Use of Force and MOAB required
