Join Purolator as an Operations Coordinator in Etobicoke, ON, focusing on security monitoring and incident management. This role is pivotal in stabilizing security discrepancies within the network.
The Operations Coordinator for the Security Control Tower is an operational lead, tasked with overseeing the security monitoring systems and ensuring compliance with protocol. This 12-month contract role operates on a rotational schedule with 10-hour shifts, requiring collaboration with Loss Prevention and Network teams to drive continuous improvement while addressing security network issues.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor alarms and respond to security incidents
• Provide voice communication for access control purposes
• Dispatch personnel based on incident evaluations
• Support theft and fraud investigations through video surveillance
• Manage employee access and systems
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years in security service roles
• Knowledge of CCTV and Access Control systems
• Understanding of Transportation Security principles
• Ability to interpret facility diagrams
• Proficiency in English for stakeholder communication
