Security Officer - Shangri-La

Join Shangri-La Toronto as a dedicated Security Officer, focusing on overnight safety and service excellence. This role demands both hospitality skills and technical knowledge of hotel security protocols.

In this position, you’ll collaborate with the Director of Security to uphold the safety and well-being of guests and staff. You will conduct patrols, implement safety practices, and maintain communication with local authorities. Ensuring compliance with legal standards and hotel safety policies will be essential, as will providing exemplary service in a luxury hotel environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing fire and safety practices

• Perform routine patrols of the hotel premises

• Prepare detailed incident reports at shift end

• Investigate guest complaints and security issues

• Coordinate with police and security agencies as needed

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security experience needed

• Must hold a valid Ontario Security License

• Certification in CPR-C and First Aid required

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Required flexibility for overnight shifts
