Officer, Security Operations at GTAA

Join the Greater Toronto Airports Authority as an Officer in Security Operations Planning & Support. This full-time, on-site position represents an opportunity to enhance security measures at Toronto Pearson Airport.

Reporting to the Manager of Security Operations & Response, you will play a vital role within the Corporate Safety & Security department. Your scope of work encompasses assessing security incidents, developing response plans, and performing system testing to uphold airport safety standards. Experience in security systems and SOP writing is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate process failures affecting security protocols

• Support the creation of incident response plans

• Conduct comprehensive training and exercises

• Analyze incident data during debriefing sessions

• Evaluate operational security technologies

Requirements:

• 5+ years in Security or Airport Operations

• Proficiency in dispatch and security systems

• Certification as APCO Telecommunicator

• Post-secondary education required

• Ability to secure Transportation Security Clearance
