Payrate: $18.40/hour
Averaging Agreement: Overtime is Averaging Agreement (AA) after 88 hours

Provide continuous observation of assigned patients to ensure safety and prevent self-harm or injury.Monitor and report any unusual behavior, incidents, or safety concerns to clinical and security staff.Maintain a respectful and non-invasive presence while observing patients.Work closely with healthcare professionals, following facility protocols and directions.De-escalate situations calmly and appropriately using non-violent crisis intervention techniques.Document observations and incidents accurately and in a timely manner.Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.Prerequisites:
Valid Security License for the province of OntarioValid First Aid & CPR Level C from a WSIB approved providerCovid Vaccine two dosesImmunization records (Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, and Tuberculosis Skin Tests Step 1 &
2)Immunization Record Form Immunization-Record-Ontario
- Completed immunization for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella are required at the time of hire. Applicants who are not immunized or are otherwise unable to provide their MMR-V immunity at the time of hire will not be deemed eligible for the position.Must be willing to complete N95 Mask fit testing during the trainingEnglish (oral and written)Previous experience in security or a related field preferredStrong interpersonal and conflict-resolution skillsAbility to stay alert and attentive for extended periodsAbility to work in high-stress environmentsAuthorized to legally work in CanadaCertification Requirements (All)
