The Legislative Protective Services Branch is seeking skilled Peace Officers to join their dedicated team. In this role, you will utilize your law enforcement experience, apply bias-free principles, and respond to a range of service calls for criminal activity and security concerns. You’ll be instrumental in maintaining a secure environment for Members of Provincial Parliament and other visitors through your patrol duties and adherence to service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Act in conformity with laws and policies
• Provide superior customer service to diverse stakeholders
• Conduct general patrols and manage access points
• Respond to criminal activity and security breaches
• Maintain safety and prepare timely reports
Requirements:
• High school diploma or post-secondary education
• Previous law enforcement training and experience
• Possess Class G driver's license
• Fit for duty with necessary physical and mental abilities
• Canadian citizen or permanent resident
