Averaging Agreement: Overtime calculated using an 88‑hour averaging agreement

Paladin Security is looking for professional, customer‑focused, and dependable individuals to join our team as High Profile Security Guards in Downtown Toronto. In this role, you’ll provide a visible security presence within a busy retail and commercial environment while delivering exceptional customer service. You’ll help maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming atmosphere for tenants, visitors, and staff by proactively monitoring the property, responding to incidents, and enforcing safety procedures.

• Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols of the property.
• Monitor entrances, common areas, and parking facilities for safety concerns.
• Manage access control by verifying identification and monitoring visitor/vendor access.
• Monitor CCTV cameras, alarms, and access control systems.
• Respond quickly and professionally to alarms, emergencies, and security incidents.
• Coordinate with emergency responders when necessary.
• Provide outstanding customer service by assisting tenants, employees, and visitors.
• Enforce property rules, company policies, and safety procedures.
• Complete accurate reports and incident documentation.
• Maintain a highly visible professional presence to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized activity.

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License.
• Valid First Aid & CPR Level C certification from a WSIB‑approved provider.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional appearance and customer service skills.
• Availability to work rotating continental shifts (days and nights).
• Must possess—or successfully complete prior to onboarding—Paladin's Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB) certifications. Paladin covers certification costs with a 6‑month employment commitment.

• Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or high‑volume customer service.
• Post‑secondary education in Law Enforcement, Criminology, Police Foundations, or a related discipline.
