Position: Security Guard Role Eaton Centre
Become a part-time Security Guard with UNIFOR TEC Security at the vibrant Toronto Eaton Centre. Focus on public safety, emergency response, and enforcing essential security policies.

This casual, unionized role includes shifts on weekends and evenings. As a Security Guard, you will patrol the complex, assist in crowd control, and provide support to staff and customers in emergency situations. Strong communication skills and good judgment are crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct access control and manage mall lockdowns

• Respond swiftly to medical and security emergencies

• Prepare incident reports and maintain a memo book

• Support police and emergency services when necessary

• Assist with general inquiries and customer service initiatives

Requirements:

• Must hold CPR and First Aid certifications

• Security Guard license compliant with PSISA regulations

• Annual Use of Force training completion required

• Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Act

• Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication
