Position: Control Centre Operator for City Security
Join the City of Toronto as a Control Centre Operator, providing critical security oversight and emergency response. You will manage alarms, dispatch personnel, and ensure safety across city facilities.

In this key role, you will deliver first-line direction to security staff, monitor emergency alarms, and handle high-volume calls to maintain security standards. Your expertise in building security systems and customer service will be vital in a fast-paced environment. Maintain crucial operational logs and ensure adherence to protocols while responding efficiently to various incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct in-house and contracted security staffing

• Monitor alarm systems for timely responses

• Dispatch personnel for emergency and non-emergency situations

• Input daily logs and reports into relevant systems

• Liaise with police for CCTV footage as needed

Requirements:

• Experience in building security and monitoring environments

• Valid Security Guard License as per PSISA

• Strong knowledge of C-CURE and Milestone systems

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to work rotating shifts under pressure
