4th Class Special Constable

The University of Toronto is seeking motivated individuals to fill 4th Class Special Constable positions within its Campus Safety Services. Candidates should be community-oriented and able to navigate the challenges of policing within a diverse university environment. Ideal applicants possess strong communication skills and can demonstrate a commitment to maintaining safety and engagement within the campus community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide law enforcement and security services to the campus

• Conduct foot, bicycle, and mobile patrols

• Implement traffic and crowd control measures

• Investigate policy violations and take statements

• Prepare reports and document incidents using NicheRMS software

Requirements:

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum one year related experience preferred

• Valid Ontario class ‘G’ driver’s license

• Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification

• Must pass background checks and testing
