Tactical Security Guard

Join Garda World as a Tactical Security Guard on an Academic campus in Downtown Toronto.

This role offers hands-on experience and the opportunity to protect the community and its members.

As a Tactical Security Guard with one year of tactical experience, your responsibilities will include proactive patrolling, responding to emergencies, and enforcing regulations. You will gain valuable skills in community policing and have paths for career advancement through training with Garda World Academy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively patrol high-traffic areas on foot

• Respond quickly to incidents and emergencies

• Enforce the Criminal Code and site-specific regulations

• Observe and report suspicious behavior and hazards

• Assist with medical emergencies and evacuations

Requirements:

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License

• Use of Force certification and 1 year of experience

• Standard First Aid & CPR Level C certification

• Excellent communication and report-writing skills

• Ability to work in sensitive situations with professionalism
