Weekend Part-Time Concierge Security Guard

Garda World in Toronto is seeking a part-time Concierge Security Guard for weekend nights. Engage with visitors, ensure safety, and manage access in office towers and hotels.

This role focuses on providing excellent customer service while maintaining security protocols during shifts. As a Concierge Security Guard, you will support guests by checking IDs, conducting patrols, and addressing incidents as they arise. This position is vital for creating a secure environment in high-traffic locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and guide visitors, checking identification

• Manage access control effectively within the venue

• Conduct regular foot patrols to identify potential risks

• Inspect and report on security equipment maintenance

• Respond to incidents and provide first aid when necessary

Requirements:

• Authorization to work in Canada is mandatory

• Valid Ontario security license required

• WSIB approved First Aid certification needed

• Proficiency in basic phone and computer skills

• 1-2 years of security guard experience preferred
