Position: Full Time Field Training Officer at Seneca
Train and mentor future security leaders as a Full Time Field Training Officer at Seneca Polytechnic. You’ll use hands-on scenarios and best practices to elevate campus security staff skills.

As a Field Training Officer, you will play a vital role in developing new security personnel. Emphasizing structured onboarding and scenario-based training, you guide trainees through the challenges they'll face on campus. Your expertise will ensure everyone is equipped for success during their probationary period and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver onboarding and site-specific training to new hires

• Conduct training aligned with current campus security trends

• Evaluate trainee performance and document outcomes

• Monitor compliance with licensing and training requirements

• Debrief major incidents and propose targeted training

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of security experience

• Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence

• Strong communication skills

• Previous training or supervisory experience

• Ability to provide Use of Force and MOAB certifications
