Undercover Security Specialist at Blackbird

Join Blackbird Security as an Undercover Security Specialist in North York and Scarborough, Ontario, dedicated to theft prevention while engaging with customers. Your main responsibility will be to safeguard retail environments.

As part of Blackbird Security’s team, you will use your skills in asset protection and theft prevention to create a safer shopping experience. This position requires monitoring store aisles, responding to emergencies, and conducting patrols while dressed in plain clothes. Previous experience is strongly preferred, along with necessary certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor patrons and store areas for suspicious activities

• Engage directly with customers while undercover

• Patrol and observe using security cameras

• Address theft situations promptly and appropriately

• Complete necessary incident documentation

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year experience in undercover loss prevention

• Preferred 2 years of experience in a security role

• Valid security and Use of Force certifications required

• Must have strong communication skills

• Ability to work independently
