Position: Campus Safety Special Constable Role
Join the University of Toronto's St. George Campus Safety team as a 4th Class Special Constable. Engage in active policing, community safety, and various security initiatives.

This role demands a community-focused approach to safety within the dynamic environment of Canada’s largest university. As a 4th Class Special Constable, you will be responsible for law enforcement, conducting patrols, and providing security services while collaborating with local police. Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication abilities and an understanding of local laws.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine patrols, both foot and mobile

• Investigate incidents and document findings

• Execute crowd control and traffic management

• Provide security for dignitaries and events

• Develop and implement safety programs for students

Requirements:

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent required

• Minimum one year of relevant experience preferred

• Successful clearance from police background checks

• Must hold a valid Ontario class “G” driver's license

• Certification in Standard First Aid and Level “C” CPR needed

Contribute to campus safety and enforce regulations at the University of Toronto.
