Profile Tactical Security GTA

Overview

Securiguard Services is looking for experienced security guards for our various sites across Toronto & the GTA. Our mission is to make people feel safe. As a security professional, you will enforce provincial and municipal regulations, uphold company policies, monitor CCTV systems, operate security control‑room equipment, control site access, report hazards or breaches, and respond to incidents.

• 1+ year of security experience, preferably in a Healthcare, Mall/Retail, Campus, or Government environment, or a diploma in security or law enforcement.
• Valid Ontario Security License, Standard First Aid, and Level C CPR with AED.
• Comfort with two‑way radio communication/dispatch and/or CCTV software.
• Approach situations with a listening mindset and empathy.
• Capable of standing and walking for up to 12 hours.
• Ability to problem‑solve, manage crowds effectively, and use discretion and good judgment.
• Force‑use training and/or Military/Law Enforcement background is an asset.
• Adherence to company values – REACH (Respect, Empathy, Accountability, Courtesy, and Honesty).
• Strong ability to prepare professional daily or incident security reports.
• Knowledge of the Trespass to Property Act (TPA), Canadian Criminal Code, and 494(c).
• Conflict resolution and de‑escalation skills.
• Ability to conduct arrests within appropriate and sanctioned situations.
• Education background in law enforcement, such as Police Foundation, Criminology, Protection Security, or Investigation, is an asset.
