Assistant Team Security Manager MLSE

Play a key role in player protection at Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment as the Assistant Team Security Manager. This position emphasizes security assessments, incident response, and coordination across various venues.

In this assistant role, you will support the safety of our sports teams by traveling with them and ensuring secure environments during games and events. Reporting to the Director of Security, you will develop risk mitigation plans and handle emergency situations affecting personnel. Collaboration with different security agencies and partners is essential to maintain a safe atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support players and staff security during team travel

• Conduct security assessments for events and appearances

• Monitor incidents and respond to emergencies

• Coordinate with venue security and law enforcement

• Maintain documentation and incident reports with confidentiality

Requirements:

• 5 years of experience in sports security or military

• Proven ability to manage public-facing security operations

• Knowledge of emergency response protocols

• Strong relationship-building capabilities

• Flexible availability with frequent travel required
