Retail Security Monitor at Guardteck

Become a vital part of Guardteck Security's retail team as a Security Monitor. You will oversee CCTV and other security systems while supporting a safe shopping environment.

Guardteck, under Kandor Management Corp., is seeking a Security Monitor with 1–2 years of experience, ideally in a Security Operations Centre.

Your role will involve dispatching security personnel, responding to alarms, and assisting in emergencies. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, as well as the ability to work varied shifts on a continental rotation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor CCTV and access control systems

• Dispatch security personnel to alarms promptly

• Remain calm during emergency situations

• Maintain accurate daily activity logs and incident reports

• Provide customer service while managing visitor access

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of security experience required

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent multitasking and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work varied shifts including weekends
