Take charge of campus safety as a Security Team Lead at Seneca Polytechnic, Newnham Campus. Lead your team in providing high-quality security services and support.

In the role of Security Team Lead, you will coordinate Security Guard activities across various areas on campus including event spaces, fostering collaboration with campus partners. This full-time position involves mentoring staff, managing incidents, and ensuring that security measures adhere to Seneca’s protocols, all while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily activities of Security Guards on campus

• Monitor and manage incident responses and investigations

• Facilitate teamwork with cross-campus partners

• Lead frontline support for events and activities

• Conduct training and mentor new security staff

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience in Security Leadership

• Approved First Aid and CPR certification required

• Bilingual skills are a plus

• Strong communication and leadership capabilities

• Ability to manage fast-paced campus demands
