Security Supervisor

Position: Scarborough Health Network Security Supervisor
Join Scarborough Health Network as a Security Supervisor responsible for overseeing parking and security operations. Ensure exceptional security service while managing a team of professionals.

This role focuses on day-to-day supervision of Security Guards stationed at the Centenary Site. You will guide staff, attend to service calls, and uphold SHN standards for security and safety. Your leadership will be crucial in executing proactive security measures and ensuring compliance with regulations throughout the healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct supervision of Security Guards and daily operations

• Assess and respond to service calls effectively

• Design strategies to improve security programs

• Enforce departmental standards and conduct inspections

• Assist in procurement processes supporting security functions

Requirements:

• Five years of relevant hospital security experience

• Two years supervising in a unionized setting

• Diploma or Degree in Security or related field

• Valid Ontario Security and Driver’s Licenses

• Strong understanding of emergency codes and procedures
