Library Building Patrol at University

The University of Toronto Libraries is seeking a Building Patrol member to maintain a safe environment across its campuses. Candidates should have first aid training and ability to enforce safety protocols. Strong communication skills are required to assist library staff and patrons effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Open and close libraries for staff and patrons

• Monitor access control at library entrances

• Conduct safety inspections and report findings

• Provide first aid services to those in need

• Respond to alarms and ensure safety compliance

Requirements:

• Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent

• Minimum one year of related experience preferred

• Valid Security Guard Licence and CPR-C certification

• Effective English communication skills

• Demonstrated responsibility and decision-making ability
