In this full-time position, you will actively respond to fire, medical, and rescue emergencies. Key responsibilities include operating firefighting apparatus, ensuring compliance with safety guidelines, and performing inspections. You will also engage in non-emergency duties, such as equipment maintenance and public education on fire safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to emergency and non-emergency calls promptly
• Perform firefighting duties and rescue operations
• Operate firefighting equipment and vehicles
• Conduct inspections for safety compliance
• Maintain station cleanliness and order
Requirements:
• Valid Ontario Driver’s Licence with Z endorsement
• Emergency Medical Responder certification
• Must pass NFPA 1001 Level 1 & 2
• Successfully complete OFAI testing stages
• Ability to work 24-hour shifts
