Military Police Officer

Become a vital part of the Canadian Armed Forces as a Military Police Officer. You will enforce laws, support missions, and ensure safety for the military community, both in Canada and abroad.

As a Military Police Officer, you will provide high-quality policing services to support the Canadian Armed Forces (CAF). This role includes criminal investigations, crime prevention, and community assistance. Expectations also include working in varying environments, from military bases to embassies around the world, serving both Regular and Reserve Force members, and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enforce laws on CAF establishments

• Investigate military and criminal offenses

• Develop community crime prevention strategies

• Coordinate tasks for custody of detainees

• Provide community service through conflict mediation

Requirements:

• Graduation from a relevant post-secondary program

• Valid provincial driver’s license required

• Eligible candidates may require basic military training

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Physical fitness for varying work environments
