Sessional Overnight Library Patrol

Contribute to library safety and security at the University of Toronto as a Sessional Overnight Building Patrol. This role is essential to ensuring a safe academic environment.

You will be part of the Library Patrol Team, working overnight from Sunday to Thursday during the academic year. Your main duties will involve ensuring libraries are secure, providing first aid, and maintaining effective communication with other staff. The position requires reliability and a strong commitment to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Timely opening and closing of library facilities

• Monitor entrances for secure access

• Write reports on safety and maintenance issues

• Respond to alarms and provide first aid services

• Conduct patrols throughout library premises

Requirements:

• Completed Grade 12 or equivalent

• Two years in a similar role preferred

• Must have a valid Security Guard Licence

• Required First Aid and CPR-C certification

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
