Seneca Security Guard Position

Become part of an engaged security team at Seneca Polytechnic, Newnham. This full-time Security Guard role focuses on safety patrol, customer service, and community support for students in North York, Ontario.

As a Security Guard at Seneca Polytechnic, you will actively contribute to maintaining a safe and inclusive environment for students. Responsibilities include executing routine patrols, responding to various situations, and offering vital support to students and faculty. Collaboration with campus partners and local emergency services will also be essential for successful incident management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement proactive patrols throughout the Newnham campus

• Respond to emergencies and alarms efficiently and professionally

• Provide customer service and information to all campus visitors

• Enforce policies and assist with event crowd management

• Document incidents and assist with investigations thoroughly

Requirements:

• Must be legally allowed to work in Canada

• Certification in Standard First Aid and CPR Level C required

• Effective communication and a professional demeanor

• Previous experience in security or healthcare is beneficial

• Required certifications in Use of Force and Aggressive Behavior Management
