Who We Are
Scarborough Transit Connect (STC) is a joint venture between Aecon and FCC Canada Ltd. that was selected by Metrolinx to deliver the Scarborough Subway Extension – Stations, Rail and Systems (SSE-SRS) package. The Scarborough Subway Extension will bring the TTC’s Line 2 subway service nearly eight kilometers farther into Scarborough. It will extend from Kennedy Station to Sheppard Avenue and McCowan Road, providing quick and seamless transit for those heading into and out of the downtown core and those travelling within Scarborough.

The extension will replace Line 3 (the Scarborough RT), helping to reduce travel times and improve access to jobs, schools, and other key destinations throughout the city.

Position Title:

Security Administrator

What You Will Do

Provide operational and administrative support to the STC Security team.

Collect, compile, and analyze security data to support performance metrics, trend analysis, internal reviews, management reporting, and client submissions.

Monitor completion of project security incident reports and ensure reports are submitted, filed, distributed, and tracked in accordance with the Security Program and applicable project reporting requirements.

Maintain the project Security Incident Log and related trackers, ensuring records are complete, current, and available for analysis, follow-up, and audit purposes.

Ensure security documentation, records, procedures, reports, and supporting evidence are uploaded into assigned project files and maintained in an organized and accessible manner for assurance and auditing purposes.

Organize, monitor, and support weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual security reporting, including compilation of statistical data, performance indicators, trends, and action status.

Maintain security corrective-action trackers by recording, updating, and monitoring actions arising from security incidents, investigations, audits, inspections, assessments, and management reviews; follow up with action owners and identify overdue items.

Maintain administrative records and trackers related to CCTV, access control, security system installations, equipment status, service issues, vendor actions, and other security technology activities, as directed.

Support the administration and record keeping associated with CCTV footage access and release requests, approvals, evidence documentation, and other sensitive security records in accordance with established procedures.

Assist with the coordination of site security audits and inspections, including perimeter and fence-line reviews, guard service reviews, and security system checks; record findings and track required follow-up actions.

Coordinate information and documentation required from project teams, contractors, consultants, and security service providers to support security reporting, investigations, audits, and compliance activities.

Support Security Awareness Program activities, including training records, communications, presentation materials, attendance tracking, and administrative coordination.

Organize and coordinate security meetings and working groups, including scheduling, agendas, meeting materials, minutes, action logs, and follow-up communications.

Assist with mobilization of new work areas and project sites by preparing security templates, trackers, contact lists, reporting tools, and other documentation required to support the Security Program.

Assist security personnel and project stakeholders in understanding and complying with established security reporting, document control, and tracking processes.
