INTRODUCTION
Commissionaires Great Lakes (CGL) is a private, not-for-profit organization founded in 1925 on a mandate that prioritizes providing meaningful employment for veterans and others committed to the well being of Canadians primarily in security guard and related services. Spanning Central and Southwestern Ontario, our services are customized to respond to the dynamic and evolving security needs of both private and public sector clients.
These include uniformed guard, mobile response and support services, by-law enforcement and identification services.
We are currently seeking a Commissionaire to join our growing team.

POSITION SUMMARY

Hourly Rate of Pay: $24.82/hr
Hours of work: (12 Hours)(Paid Meal Breaks)
Shifts:
Sat - Sun (STAT Holidays if needed)

25 St. Claire Ave, Toronto, Ontario

White Shirt, Cargo pants, Safety footwear (CM)
RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES
Ensure access control policies and procedures are followed and client property is secured
Monitor CCTV cameras and alarm systems
Maintain positive attitude and professional working relationships with employees, visitors and clients
Complete site reporting requirements, daily logs and written reports
Maintain high standards of personal appearance and deportment
Maintain effective communication
Respond to alarms and calls for assistance
Provide assistance to employees, clients and visitors
Regular interior and exterior foot patrols
Make sure the Security Desk is always monitored
Able to operate a computer badging system when needed
Other duties as may be required by the client or site supervisor
REQUIRED EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND
EXPERIENCE:
* Mandatory* - Must hold a Valid Ontario Security Guard License.
* Mandatory* - Valid WSIB accredited First Aid and CPR certificate
* Mandatory* - Be able to obtain a Level I (Reliability) Clearance - minimum 5 Years of Residency in Canada
The ability to stand for long periods of time and complete frequent patrols
Good understanding of computers
Customer service/reception/administrative skills
The ability to work alone while maintaining a high level of service to the client is essential
