Men are dying too young - and it doesn’t have to be that way.

Around the world, men are facing a health crisis: prostate cancer, testicular cancer, poor mental health and suicide. At Movember we’re on a mission to change the face of men’s health by making it easier for men to talk, act and live longer healthier lives.

Every project, every campaign, every idea adds up to real change. You’ll be part of a mustache-powered crew who believe making an impact and having fun should go hand in hand. Your mission is calling.

DO GOOD. Work for Movember. Your Mo-Mission (should You Choose To Accept It)

Healthcare systems weren't built with men in mind. You'll help change that. As our Director, Health Systems (Canada), you'll lead the strategic implementation of Movember's Health Systems portfolio across Canada, driving meaningful, systemic improvement in the way health systems and healthcare professionals engage with men's health.

This is a newly created foundational leadership role. You'll grow Movember's presence in the Canadian market, building strategic partnerships with provincial health systems, healthcare organisations, insurance and benefits providers, universities, and government to scale Men in Mind, our evidence-based training program, to thousands of mental health and primary care professionals across the country. You'll develop and execute pilot-to-scale partnership models, negotiate commercial arrangements that demonstrate clear return on investment, and position Movember as a trusted voice in gender-responsive healthcare across Canada.

The portfolio you'll lead operates across four interconnected areas:
Health Professional Training, Systems Research, Health Literacy, and System-Level Leadership. That means you'll be overseeing everything from the localisation and delivery of Men in Mind for Canadian healthcare contexts and accreditation requirements, to systems mapping research, to public-facing campaigns that help Canadian men navigate the health system and engage with their own wellbeing.

At the policy level, you'll lead Movember's health systems advocacy work in Canada, building relationships with Health Canada and provincial health ministries, convening healthcare leaders and policymakers, and working to embed gender-responsive approaches into health strategy at both federal and provincial levels.

You'll manage a small but growing team, including the Program Manager, Health Systems (Canada) and, in collaboration with the Global Director, provide strategic oversight to our Implementation Lead in California. As the portfolio scales, you'll also help build the business case for growing the Canadian team further.

This is a two-year fixed-term role based in Toronto, reporting to the Global Director, Health Systems. Some international and domestic travel is required, including periodic trips to California and approximately two to three international trips per year. Bilingual English and French capability is an asset.

If you're a senior health leader with deep knowledge of the Canadian healthcare landscape, a track record of building complex multi-stakeholder partnerships, and the drive to create lasting systemic change for men's health, we'd love to hear from you.

No Moustache Required - But The Following Are
  • A degree in a health-related field such as public health, health services, health policy, or psychology
  • Significant experience in senior program leadership, strategy development, and implementation in health, social sector, or related fields
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage complex, multi-stakeholder partnerships across government, corporate, and not-for-profit organisations
  • Experience leading teams and managing direct reports, with a track record of coaching and developing staff
  • Strong understanding of the Canadian healthcare system, including provincial structures, primary care, and mental health service delivery
  • Proven capability in managing commercial partnerships and demonstrating return on investment
  • Experience developing and executing pilot-to-scale models in partnership with healthcare or insurance organisations
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple…
