Personal Support Worker; PSW North York

Overview

In-Home Assisted Living Inc. is looking for compassionate, caring and reliable individuals to join our family as Caregivers/Personal Support Workers (PSW's) for our clients in North York. Work setting is within private homes.

As a IHAL employee, you will make a difference in the lives of our clients and their families through compassionate, client focused care.

• Basic Meal Preparation
• Assistance with personal care, hygiene, and grooming (ADL’s)
• Light Housekeeping (IADL’s vacuuming, laundry, dishes etc.)
• Medication Reminders
• Assisting clients with mobility, ambulation, and transfers
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Responding to emergency situations
• Complete daily shift reports to communicate with Case Managers

• Personal Support Worker Certificate
• Foreign Nurse
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification Preferred
• Mobile phone (for timesheets and care plan updates)
• Documentation skills
• Ability to follow client care plan
• Strong communication skills

$21.00 per hour.
