Job Title:

Fire Alarm System Inspector

Salary:

$74,000.00 - $ per year

Job Summary:

As a fire alarm system inspector, you will be responsible for completing service requests at various locations throughout your territory. We have positions for professional, state-licensed Fire Alarm and Sprinkler Inspectors. Inspect and test fire alarm systems to ensure they function effectively and meet CFAA standards. Adjust or repair malfunctioning systems. Perform basic sprinkler inspection service. We seek dependable, self-starters with a “Can Do” attitude to work efficiently in our fast-paced environment.

Job Duties /Responsibilities:
  • Schedule fire alarm and fire sprinkler system inspections
  • Run tests and inspections on fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems
  • Coordinate with the local fire department to avoid response during testing
  • Repair systems if necessary or inform the Service Department of customer needs
  • Advise customers of test and inspection results
  • Maintain excellent communication with your Area Coordinator regarding inspections, rescheduling, etc.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills required; good interpersonal skills required
Position Details:
  • Full-time position with 40+ hours weekly
  • Meet service calls efficiently
  • Identify emergencies and respond quickly to support customers
  • Use maps and Google Maps for scheduling
Customer Service:
  • Manage incoming calls with customers and office staff
  • Keep thorough documentation of service calls
  • Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years post-high school education preferred
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic skills using Apple iPad
  • Ability to work M-F 8:00 a.m.

    -5:00 p.m. and be flexible
  • Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs. and use an 8-ft ladder
  • Electrical/low voltage certification and/or construction background a plus
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Travel: 100%, remote work
