The Lead Registered CFAA Technician will be a part of a dedicated team that specializes in navigating the complex field of Fire Prevention and Life Safety, enabling our clients to make informed decisions and meet regulatory requirements for safety. You will play a pivotal role in conducting inspections, assessments, and follow-up reports. Your expertise will extend to compliance with relevant codes and industry standards.

All you need is:
- A valid CFAA (Canadian Fire Alarm Association) registration & up-to-date Continuing Education Credits.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of field experience.
- Experience conducting building and property inspections.
- Experience installing fire alarm, clean agent, and other fire protection systems and equipment is an asset.
- Experience reading blueprints, installation guides, and technical documents.
- Knowledge of the Fire Protection and Prevention Act, Ontario Fire Code, Building Code Act, Ontario Building Code, Provincial Offences Act, OFM Technical and Public Fire Safety Guidelines, and related standards and legislation is an asset.
- Appropriate set of hand tools.
- First Aid and Working from Heights certification.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle – able to travel around the GTHA.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage own workflow.
- Excellent organization, accuracy, and time management skills.
- Advanced proficiency by quickly adapting to new technology and easily acquiring new technical skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities; proactive in anticipating needs, potential problems, and adept at mitigating risks.
- Ability to work collaboratively within and across teams.
- Ability to manage high volume of work and respond quickly and accurately.
