Reporting primarily from the Toronto South Detention Centre, you will work part-time for 20 hours weekly. This role includes outreach, case management, and ensuring clients have access to necessary resources and education, tailored specifically for diverse populations. Your impact will directly support the reintegration process of individuals coming from incarceration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build relationships with clients transitioning from custody
• Advocate for clients accessing housing and health supports
• Provide emotional support and life skills development
• Participate in program evaluation and data collection
• Maintain accurate records of services provided
Requirements:
• Demonstrated experience in harm reduction support
• Cultural competency with diverse populations
• Strong crisis intervention skills
• Ability to work independently in a mobile unit
• Organizational and time management expertise
