Position: Provincial Youth Outreach Worker Role
Make a difference with MLSE Launch Pad as a Provincial Youth Outreach Worker. This full-time position requires compassion and advocacy to support youth through sport and community engagement.

As a Provincial Youth Outreach Worker, you’ll be at the forefront of empowering underserved youth in Ontario. Your pivotal role involves outreach, mentorship, and delivering crucial early intervention initiatives primarily in neighborhoods like Regent Park and St. James Town. The goal is to foster connections that enhance youth's skillsets and life outcomes through collaborative programming and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish rapport with youth across priority communities

• Provide personalized advocacy and case management support

• Identify and address barriers facing young individuals

• Collaborate with service providers for comprehensive support

• Facilitate community outreach initiatives and events

Requirements:

• Completion of Social Services Field diploma or equivalent experience

• 1-2 years working with youth and community programs

• Certification in First Aid and Mental Health First Aid

• Willing to undergo a Vulnerable Sector Check

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
