26 as the Safeguarding & Anti-Discrimination Venue Manager during the World Cup 26. Ensure safety and inclusivity on match days at the stadium in North America.
This match day–only position reports to the Sustainability & Human Rights Venue Manager and focuses on safeguarding and anti-discrimination efforts. You will serve as the main contact for implementing these vital initiatives during tournament matches. Collaborate with event volunteers and liaise with various teams to address any incidents or issues effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead safeguarding and anti-discrimination efforts on match days.
• Support volunteers in their designated roles during matches.
• Coordinate with security and fan operations to resolve issues.
• Manage and report on safeguarding-related cases and incidents.
• Conduct checks for non-discriminatory fan materials and manage compliance.
Requirements:
• Experience in public protection and safeguarding measures.
• Knowledge of anti-discrimination policies and practices.
• Strong communication skills in multicultural settings.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care principles.
• Fluent in English;
Spanish/French is a plus.
Utilize your skills in safeguarding, inclusivity, and conflict resolution to create a secure environment for all World Cup attendees.
