Crescent School seeks a dedicated Social Worker to enhance support initiatives for lower and middle school students. Focus on individual counseling, crisis intervention, and wellbeing workshops.
In this pivotal role, you will assess social and emotional needs while creating safe spaces for sensitive conversations. Collaborate with the Crescent Student Services team to develop tailored solutions for students. Your expertise will promote resilience and foster inclusivity within the school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide therapeutic support and family counseling services
• Lead crisis intervention and conduct risk assessments
• Maintain case records as per OCSWSSW requirements
• Develop training sessions for faculty on student needs
• Facilitate workshops on mental health and wellbeing
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Social Work with 5+ years experience
• Registered Social Worker (RSW) with OCSWSSW membership
• Strong emotional intelligence in difficult conversations
• A commitment to diversity and inclusion
• Team-oriented with a passion for student growth
