Position: Social Worker for Trauma and Resilience
Jewish Family and Child Service seeks a dedicated Social Worker to support individuals affected by antisemitism and trauma in Toronto. In this full-time role, utilize clinical counselling and crisis intervention skills to aid community members.

As a Social Worker at JF&CS, you will engage with clients facing the effects of hate-based incidents and traumatic invalidation. Your responsibilities will encompass assessment, counselling, and advocacy, while fostering community resilience through trauma-informed practices. Provide individual and group therapeutic support, aiding clients in accessing vital community resources and legal assistance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver trauma-informed clinical assessment and counselling services

• Facilitate therapeutic groups addressing resilience and healing

• Support clients with advocacy and referrals to resources

• Develop educational workshops on trauma and community wellbeing

• Collaborate with local organizations for coordinated care

Requirements:

• Master of Social Work (MSW) or equivalent

• Minimum 2–3 years clinical experience in trauma therapy

• Registered with Ontario College of Social Workers

• Training in evidence-based trauma modalities

• Strong communication and group facilitation skills
