Position: Family and Natural Support Counselor Role
Join Covenant House as a Family and Natural Supports Counsellor, where you will provide impactful counseling services to youth facing challenges. This full-time, on-site role focuses on relationships and outreach to foster long-term support.
Covenant House is hiring a Family and Natural Supports Counsellor to work directly with vulnerable youth and their family systems. This position emphasizes integrated services, including both individual and family therapy, to address risk factors and enhance youth support networks. The goal is to empower young individuals through effective community navigation and holistic support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct outreach to youth at shelters

• Host group-based workshops and activities

• Deliver therapy to families of youth in need

• Support youth in accessing community resources

• Collaborate with CCS and community partners
Requirements:

• Relevant BSW or MSW qualification preferred

• Registration eligibility for psychotherapy practice

• Familiarity with youth mental health and LGBTQ2S+ issues

• Excellent intervention and clinical assessment skills

• Flexible schedule with evening availability
