Available to students majoring in Social Services, this placement needs a commitment of two weekdays from 9 AM to 5 PM. You will be instrumental in providing support through key programs like Meals on Wheels and assessing client needs. Document and report client interactions while ensuring safety protocols are followed diligently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver services for Friendly Connections and support meals programs
• Assist with health promotion and client education activities
• Document service delivery and client feedback as required
• Manage and report safety concerns during operations
• Join in team meetings and encourage volunteer participation
Requirements:
• Currently enrolled in a recognized Social Service program
• Detail-oriented with excellent record-keeping capabilities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks
• Pass Vulnerable Service Sector Check and be 18 or older
