Position: Awake Overnight Child & Youth Counsellor Role
Elevate your career with Youthdale Treatment Centres as an Awake Overnight Child and Youth Counsellor. This part-time position involves nurturing youth wellbeing during overnight hours in a live-in treatment environment.

In this role, you will supervise and support youth residing in the 592 Huron facility. Your duties will encompass safety checks, thorough documentation, and building therapeutic relationships to foster a sense of security for the clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure youth safety and create a supportive space

• Perform detailed room inspections every 15 minutes

• Record observations regarding youth activity and wellbeing

• Engage with front line staff during debriefings

• Attend team meetings and ongoing training

Requirements:

• Diploma in Child and Youth Work or similar

• Minimum one year of experience with at-risk youth

• Crisis prevention and intervention training

• Ability to manage conflict professionally

• Strong organizational skills and team collaboration
