As a contractual member of the CUPE bargaining unit, this role includes providing direct client care and establishing therapeutic relationships. You will integrate a strengths-based approach, assess mental health needs, and record client information according to agency standards. Your work will empower youth to take positive steps toward growth and resilience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Promote a therapeutic and safe environment for youth
• Establish supportive relationships based on trust
• Assess mental health and engage youth families
• Maintain client records and oversee agency assets
• Participate in ongoing training and team meetings
Requirements:
• Degree/diploma in Child & Youth Work or Social Work
• Relevant experience in youth care settings
• Certification in managing aggressive behavior
• First Aid/CPR certification required
• Valid Ontario G driver's license preferred
