Position: Justice Access Support System Navigator
Join Jean Tweed Centre as a Justice Access Support System Navigator in Toronto, delivering impactful support to women in the justice system. Focus on crisis intervention and assistance through their recovery journey.

As a Case Manager, you will work at the Downtown East Justice Centre, providing essential services to women facing challenges related to substance use and mental health.

Your role involves creating holistic service plans, engaging in outreach, and ensuring participants have access to ongoing care. Collaborate with diverse partners to enhance the support system for women in crisis, making a meaningful difference in their lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with their criminal court processes and service navigation

• Lead collaborative efforts with community agencies for support

• Provide short-term counselling and intensive case management

• Build linkages to integrated healthcare and justice services

• Maintain thorough documentation of client progress and services

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or equivalent

• 3 years of experience in relevant sectors

• Solid understanding of mental health and substance use challenges

• Strong interpersonal skills for effective counselling

• Ability to work independently with critical thinking skills
