Position: Full-Time Social Worker
Join Jewish Family and Child Service as a Social Worker dedicated to serving individuals impacted by antisemitism and trauma in Toronto. This role involves direct clinical services, crisis intervention, and psychoeducation.

As a Social Worker at JF&CS, your focus will be on providing trauma-informed support and therapeutic services to help clients heal. You will lead group sessions and facilitate community outreach to strengthen familial and individual resilience. Collaborative efforts with local organizations will enhance the support network for those affected by traumatic invalidation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and provide crisis intervention

• Facilitate therapeutic support groups focused on healing

• Develop outreach initiatives addressing community trauma

• Guide clients in accessing legal and community resources

• Maintain accurate and confidential client documentation

Requirements:

• Master of Social Work (MSW) or relevant degree

• At least 2–3 years clinical experience in trauma therapy

• Registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers

• Knowledge of Jewish identity and intergenerational trauma

• Strong group facilitation and communication skills
