Position: Housing Case Manager for 2SLGBTQIA+ Youth
Join Friends of Ruby as a Student Case Manager focused on housing support for 2

SLGBTQIA+ youth. You'll provide critical case management and community resource connections while working on-site three days a week from September 2026 to May 2027.

In this role, you'll deliver intensive support to youth experiencing mental health challenges, helping them achieve independent living. Primary responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing care plans, and offering life-skills workshops. Your background in social services will enhance your ability to advocate for youth in diverse community settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive assessments of participant needs

• Develop and revise client care plans

• Guide youth through housing application processes

• Facilitate workshops focusing on life skills

• Connect youth with relevant community resources

Requirements:

• Enrolled in a University or College program in social work

• Prior experience in mental health and supportive housing

• Knowledge of housing resources and rights

• Strong skills in diversity and inclusive communication

• Must be eligible to work legally in Ontario
